Employment and skills

We want to help you improve your employability, life skills and preparations for working life. So whether you are newly or long-term unemployed, returning to work after a career break or a young person looking for your first start, we can support you along your pathway to finding employment, training, volunteering or further education.

How we can support you

image depicting employment support If you are unemployed and looking to get back into work, our Community Employment Link Worker, based at Hill House, can signpost you to information, support and guidance from a number of our partners on areas such as:

  • searching for jobs online
  • finding work experience
  • writing or updating your CV
  • preparing for interviews
  • completing application forms
  • confidence building.

We will also work with you to help you identify and overcome any barriers to employment that you might be facing. This could include finding childcare, learning new skills or training, advice on benefits, support with confidence building or anything else. We will give you as little or as much help as you need and ensure you are settled and happy with the outcome.

For anything else, please email georgia.godfrey@suttonhousingpartnership.org.uk or call 07871 736 378.
